Ever try contacting someone in the IRS???

Were you ever under review? Well you get a certain form and you have a name of a tax officer his/her id and telephone and fax number. Well don't try calling that number because all you will ever get is voice mails. You can try leaving messages but you will probably not receive any answer or a very late answer (like 3 weeks later).

Well so why is the IRS doing this well. There was a law passed by congress that gives the taxpayer some rights. 1 of them was to be able to contact their tax officer. What does the IRS do to circumvent this just turns on the voice mail and........ I thought this is a isolated case but I had this by more than 3 different IRS employees.

Anyone have any experience in these matters? Please do leave a comment.
